Place your character in a setting where something magical is going to happen. It can be a gritty alleyway in a city or in the woods, while looking at bluebells. It can be inside a Hindu temple or inside a pyramid in Egypt.
Your character is granted a wish. Who is granting the wish and how? Does this wish have any conditions? Is it a double-edged sword?
What wish does your character make? And why? What is their emotional state before and after the wish is granted?
