What’s in your ideal cookie box, whether you make the cookies yourself; assemble favorites made by family members, friends or local bakeries; or just choose from grocery store varieties. What rules would you make for your collection? Why?
You are allowed to google for the names of the various biscuits / cookies (depending on where your character lives). You can swap the biscuits/cookies for chocolates or types of mince-pies.
The Writing Task is
Writing from the POV of your character.
- Think about the occasion they are creating a biscuit box / treat box – is it a festive time, is someone ill or is it for school?
- Think about the choices they will make with respect to the person it is for – it could be for self, or family or a friend or a relative.
- Think about whether they are doing this task willingly or under duress?
