Lists are great devices to trigger subconscious memory and to remove top of the head writing.
Pick 5 items from the left and for each write a list of at least 5 items. You can write as the “writer” or from the POV of your character.

 Trees you grew up around in your childhood.
 Items on a menu – all the foods are your favourites.
 Something you found and kept
 Lies people have told you.
 List family members describing each with a word.
 Something you’ve always regretted saying
 Ethical dilemmas
 Moments when you were in pain.
 Memorable meal experiences – alone, with friends or family
 Times when you changed your mind about something important.
 What people don’t understand about you.
