Fairy tale characters are recognisable and resonate amongst readers. Fairy tale characters exist in different cultures and have travelled across the world. Keep in mind they are represented differently across cultures.
Step 1: Write a list of 10 fairy tale characters – boys and girls (and adults)
Step 2: Pick three that resonates with you or with your current WIP.
Step 3: Now play the WHAT IF game. For each of the three write a series of What if statements that leads you to a story or reveals character.
