Wrangle Your Words – A Writing Workshop for Teachers Chitra Soundar

Chitra has taught many teachers across the world to write stories and show them how to teach writing. Informed by her work in schools with children of all ages, this is a workshop where you can put the theory to practice and have fun along the way.

Wokingham Book Festival

Chitra will introduce the festival of Diwali (which is on 20th October 2025) and tell Diwali stories followed by a drawing activity from her book - Garland of Lights.

For ages 4+.

This event is in person and is approx 45 mins for the session followed by a book signing.

Chitra will be visiting St Bedes Prep, Eastbourne to tell stories and facilitate workshops with KS1 and KS2 children and focus on traditional stories.

Chitra will be visiting John Grant School during Empathy Week celebrations.

Chitra Soundar's books feature brothers Nikhil and Jay – and Max the Cat – who love to find out new things, join clubs and make stuff. They enjoy getting involved with lots of things at home and in the community and playing together.
