#Write30 – Letters and Lists

Comments Off on #Write30 – Letters and Lists

This prompt is inspired by Scott Fitzgerald’s letter to his daughter.

Imagine your character receiving a letter from an older person (or if you’re writing for adults, imagine the letter writer as a younger person). This letter contains a list – Things to worry about and Things Not to Worry about.
Write a scene where the character is reading the letter and reacting to it.

  • The list must include two sections – things to worry about and things not to worry about.
  • There must be a max of 3 people in the scene and a minimum of one.
  • The letter-writer should not be a contemporary of whom they are writing to.
